Teal Pennebaker has nearly two decades of communications experience in tech, healthcare, and politics. She has advised executives at Amazon, in the Obama Administration, at Stanford, at high-profile nonprofits, and at fast-growing startups -- providing messaging positioning, thought leadership development, and speechwriting. Teal is a business communications lecturer at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, and she and her husband are active in Democratic politics. Tim has extensive experience running communications campaigns on the national and regional stage from his time in the Obama White House and as a leader in the Biden Administration’s public response to COVID-19 as part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Tim led internal communications and advised multiple CEOs at Boeing, in addition to working with members of the c-suite during his eight years at the company. Erin Fitzgerald leads communications, policy, and enterprise marketing at Headway, a leading health tech company focused on building a new mental health care system everyone can access. Prior she served as vice president of communications, marketing, and external affairs at Quartet Health, an early mental health tech company focused on integrated care. During the Obama Administration, Erin worked on the frontlines of the Affordable Care Act at the US Department of Health and Human Services, and served in the White House. She has a background in strategy consulting, including for veteran NGO Team Rubicon Global. Erin began her career as an aide to former U.S. Senator Barack Obama, and helped launch the communications team on the 2008 Obama campaign. She earned her B.S. from Northwestern University and her M.P.P. from Harvard University, where she taught grassroots organizing and movement building with Professor Marshall Ganz.

Prior to Global Citizen Year, Molly spent six years at CNN. As producer of the Don Lemon show, Molly shaped the primetime show’s editorial direction and helped elevate the program to a No. 2 ranking in the highly competitive cable news landscape. Molly started her career as a reporter at the Independent. She is a graduate of Northwestern University. A native New Yorker, Molly now calls Jackson Heights, Queens, home with her husband and two kids, Owen (human) and Spock (dog).
